was held on 
Thursday, Sept. 19th. and it was 
a great success! W
e hosted a kickoff meeting for the CoDESS center at UCLA Engineering IV (Tesla Room) between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm! Prof. Lara Dolecek's and Prof. Rick Wesel's talks highlighted CoDESS and the LORIS and CSL research labs. Dariush Divsalar's (JPL) presentation was the headlining research talk. We also presented several student research talks and mini-presentations.
